Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 19, 2026

This policy describes how TreasureScout (the “Site”) handles information submitted through the Site. It applies as of the date above and may be updated; continued use of the Site reflects acceptance of the current version.

What is collected

TreasureScout collects only what you voluntarily submit through the contact form:

  • Your email address
  • The interests you select (for example: alerts, personalization, API access, category requests)
  • The markets (niches) you select, when relevant
  • The message you write

The Site does not currently offer accounts, logins, or payments, and does not collect that kind of information. The Site’s chat feature, where present, currently runs only in your browser and is not transmitted. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.

What is not collected

As of the last-updated date, the Site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or third-party marketing cookies. Only the routine request logs generated by the hosting provider (including IP address and user agent, for the usual purposes of delivering a website and preventing abuse) are recorded as part of serving traffic. If analytics or similar tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated first.

How information is used

Information submitted through the contact form is used to reply to your inquiry, to send you only the updates you explicitly asked for (such as alerts or personalization), and to improve the product. Your information is not sold, rented, or traded.

Service providers

The Site is hosted on third-party infrastructure (currently including Vercel) whose platforms process standard request logs in the course of delivering the Site. No information is shared with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers. If additional service providers are introduced — for example, an email delivery provider — this policy will be updated to name them.

Retention

Submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and to operate the features you requested. You can ask for your information to be deleted at any time.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete information about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise any of these by writing through the contact form and describing what you want. There will be no retaliation for exercising a privacy right.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If a child has submitted information, contact the Site and it will be removed.

Changes to this policy

Updates will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, reasonable steps will be taken to make the change visible before it takes effect.

Disclaimers and terms

Your use of the Site is also governed by the Terms of Use and Disclaimer.
